About the Authors
Lars-Erik Andersson is Professor and former Chair of the Department of Mathematics at Linkpings Universitet, Sweden. During 1989Ð1999 he was Adjoint Director of Research at the Swedish National Defense Research Establishment. He is the author of over 60 publications in the fields of inverse problems, theory of elasticity, and computer-aided geometric design.
Neil F. Stewart is Professor and former Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the Universit de Montral. He is the author of over 40 publications in operations research and solid modelling.
