MOS-SIAM Series on Optimization

This series is published jointly by the Mathematical Optimization Society and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. It includes research monographs, textbooks at all levels, books on applications, and tutorials. Besides being of high scientific quality, books in the series must advance the understanding and practice of optimization and be written clearly, in a manner appropriate to their level. Members of the MOS also receive a 30% discount.

Topics covered by the book series explore the theory and practice of optimization. Our books discuss optimization theory, algorithms, software, computational practice, applications, and/or the links between these subjects. The areas addressed include:

  • Linear and quadratic programming
  • Convex programming
  • Nonlinear programming
  • Complementarity problems
  • Stochastic optimization
  • Combinatorial optimization
  • Integer programming and convex, no smooth and variational analysis
  • Applications in Health Care
  • Applications in Energy Networks
  • Renewable Resources Integer Optimization
  • Applications in Machine Learning and Signal Processing
  • Combinatorial and Mixed Integer Nonlinear Optimization
  • Conic Optimization
  • Derivative-free Optimization
  • Graphs and Networks
